Quentin for USG President

I’m running for USG President to expand student engagement, boost club funding, protect students' rights, and center students in Princeton's policy decisions.

I’m the most experienced candidate in this race, serving on USG’s Civil Liberties Working Group, USLC, as Sustainability Committee Chair, and as the current USG Treasurer throughout my 3 years on USG. In these roles, I’ve run campaigns and events, provided Projects Board with more funding, made space for more civil discourse and dialogue on campus, and stood up for students on issues from dining to free expression. You can read more about my experience here. In short, I know how USG works, how it doesn’t work, and how we can change it.

Throughout my time on USG, I have also worked to bring more transparency and accountability to our body, trying to make our meetings more public and forward-facing and pushing for us to seriously engage with a wide range of students on (and off) campus. As President, I’ll build on this work to make USG a better advocate for the student body through increasing transparency, expanding engagement, and giving student voices a larger place in our work within USG and with Princeton’s administration. You can read my full platform here.

I’m running with a slate of current Committee Chairs, Class Senators, and Core Committee members who share my vision and want to change USG for the better. They are experienced in navigating University policy, advocating with administrators, and developing and running programming to increase student engagement and well-being. You can read more about us and our ideas here.

Voting is open from November 24th to 26th. You can sign up to be reminded by our team when voting starts here. If you have any questions or just want to talk, you can always reach me at quentin@princeton.edu

My vision

I’m running for USG President to center students in Princeton’s decision-making processes, increase club funding, reform University disciplinary procedures, and enhance accountability and transparency within USG. As President, I’ll directly connect University administrators with students most impacted by policy changes. I believe USG should organize students and empower them to advocate for themselves, and I’ll work to give student voices greater say in University policy.

My platform

I’m the current USG Treasurer, former Sustainability Committee Chair, and have served on the Civil Liberties Working Group and USLC. I’m the most experienced candidate in this race and bring a record of fighting for transparency and accountability within USG and with University administration.
